Smart Lapidary Resin Bonded Diamond Grinder - 8 inch

A special formulation of resin bonded diamond specifically designed for fast and effective grinding of opals. The removal rate of material is very high, allowing the use of finer grits while grinding opal to either expose the colour or pre-form. Less scratches means less work in the following stages to pre-polish. The edge of the wheel can be used to accurately grind down to thin opal layers. The wheels are balanced, quiet, and durable.
