These are a relatively thin saw blade (not the thinnest available) and are made from a sturdy metal blank that can handle every day use and withstand some mild abuse. The diamonds are sintered into the rim and give a nice clean cut, not too aggressive, and not too slow. They must be used with a lubricant - I use water with mine for cutting boulder and Lightning Ridge opal. This is the standard saw blade that is fitted to the main 6 inch saw machine in my workshop. The blade can be dressed with an aluminium oxide grinding wheel to expose more diamonds and increase the cutting rate.
They come with a 5/8 inch arbor hole. An optional 1/2 inch adaptor bush is available. Please ask.
