Boulder Opal

Australian Boulder Opal, mined in Queensland from our trusted mining friends and cut in Australia by Smart Opals. I generally cut the boulder opals with a relatively flat back and not too thick, to reduce bezel height. The edges are rounded off as much as possible to preserve a full face of colour and prevent chipping while setting.
